but everything has a proice and if someone is willing to pay he is willing to do anything for the right price. In a good party he can be the necessary evil who does what is needed to save the day no matter how dirty his hands get.
Very interesting. I wonder what he would do if he was offered to betray his party/friends for a huge reward? I assume he would refuse?
It’s interesting for me because i usually RP “honourable” thieves and scoundrels, “ocean’s eleven” style. They’re not good men, but they have standards. They don’t give to the poor, but most definitely only steal from the rich 😂 so motivations are simple - apply and hone your skills to overcome harder and harder challenges. Because it’s risky, fun and rewarding.
But what drives your hero? Money? What’s he spending it on? If he’s so ruthless and reliable, his services must not be cheap. Between good and evil sides, will he choose the one that pays more, or the one that will do good? Does he want to become the best bounty hunter and start his own guild? Or maybe he wants to buy a house, get married and have kids?🤣 would be interesting to see what are the aspirations of such a character.
