Yes I'm taking this into account.
So, we will HAVE to take Minsc and Jaheira if we want a party. No choice. And, even at that, we will still have to take a merc as well to make it a party of four (because I'm not convinced we'll be getting any more companions).
We’ll see when they release more info! I think it is likely that Halsin and Minthara will be nonorigin companions and maybe some others as well!!!
Yeah on this basis I would expect at least five additional companions in Act 2, so that we once again have a choice of three out of five, and especially will have the choice of an all-good party.
