I found out the hard way that if you interact with the Break Lever at the Windmill and not beeing detected by goblins, is later making it impossible to Interact with Barcus Wroot.
Barcus Wroot will be then not possible to be freed from the windmill, besides by killing him by windmill flinging him away.
So what i did was that i was courious what could happen if stopping the windmill without enganging the goblins.
And yes there come some new Dialog lines from the Goblin, when Windmill stopps suddenly.
But instead of reloading i played on.
I went away from the village to do other things first and let the Goblins switch on the Windmill again.
I came back again to the village way later when i had Wyll with me.
Then i did several approaces for the Encounter at the windmill to have expereienced all possible dialog lines.
But in any way i finished, i couldnt free Barcus Wroot.
I can stop the windmill ofc, but Barcus Wroot cant be interacted with. So he just hangs ther on the windmill but i cant cut the rope, because no mouseover option to interact there.
This should be fixed. Because i have to either forfeit interaction with Barcus and play along with this bug and hope to see him later in the underdark, or i reload a savegame.
But i dont know anymore when i interacted with the windmill before i really wanted to engage for this encounter to free Barcus.
Barcus is acting like the windmill didnt stopp, yells his lines to stop this thing, despite windmill beeing stopped.
Oddly the soundfile runs if Windmill hadnt been stopped, as well as Barcus Wroots dialog lines are yelled over and over as when windmill is running.
And Questlog is not progressing. Still at:
- Stop the windmill
"We've defeated the goblins. If we want to help the gnome, we'll have to stop the windmill."
