Just let us playtest 5e rules.
Whats that? No more major patches before release?
So Larian has a choice. Make reasoanble changs to make the game closer to 5e with 1.0- which will surprise many players that now expect BA hide, BA shove, throwing potions etc etc. And will anger some of the players.
Or keep the game as is.
My opinion: they could have started the game with 5e rules, and then if playtest identified that changes must be made then a rationale could have been provided. And then we could have playtested the new rules.
