Personally, my first thought when Lar said that was of the Hero suddenly bursting into a preschool class and yelling out "Give me 'Barry and the letter B' or

I think it's a nice idea, where there books out there that will teach you a letter (or a group of letters) in the Runic alphabet. Kinda like Final Fantasy 10's Al-Behd...
