I assume that Class specific dialogue choices is an across the board thing.
I'm fairly sure I've seen a line for for Oathbreaker at least once.
My Drow also raises reactions, same as Miss Middle Schooler.
What about Half-Drow? Any specific conversation lines for them?
BTW - what would be the reactions to a Tiefling Druid at Druid Grove? Hated by both sides?

I’d be cool if they just shared all drow reactions for drow half elves as well.

I get it, half elves are fairly common and folk can tell one from an elf, but drow? 99.9% of people never saw a drow, half drow even less so.

Gnomes are actually also very rare in the forgotten realms, they’re the least represented race on Faerun, population-wise, so I imagine gnomes should get a lot of reactions / dialogue mentions.

Would really help with RP and immersion.

Cool link, justifies my thoughts for using Wyll as my first Origin run.

As a general rule of thumb, the more recently added a class or race is, the more specific options and dialogues it will have. This is not a compliment to Larian's design practice.

I agree, IMO most of the time Drow and Thinbloods can be conflated.
Apart from Tav comparing ear sizes with Shadowheart and/or Layzael laugh

Yup. Like the Deep Gnome on the merry-go-round in Blighted Village. How many surface dwellers have ever seen a Deep Gnome?
BTW - his lines to my Drow were hilarious!

That gnome amuses me. He starts off by assuming you're going to extort him, then scolds you for making assumptions about where his people live.

I knew it was bad but with the numbers right there it really is glaring. Bard has 153 and druid 145. Only a Cleric of Shar gets above those from the original classes. And Barbarian is sitting at 316.
Come on Larian, the other classes need love too.

And yet ...

Duergars from Grymforge didnt even tryed to enslave my Deep Gnome ...
and Astarion changed his line in order to not insult her directly, when listing lower races, that he should be allowed to feed on ...

Feels kinda disapointing. :-/
Like playing a Drow, killing whole Aradin Group by my own hands ... and yet being welcomed in Druid Groove as a Hero. :-/

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown

Yeah, I remember trying to be hostile to Zevlor as a Lolthsworn Drow and take a swing at him and see how his 'not gonna judge anyone by appearances' attitude changes - I got one line where he snarled some racial hostility towards me and then he just went back to his 'I'll let everyone know you are one of the good drow' line. Larian really didn't want to lock you out of the grove content, it seems.

Similar deal with the burning Inn. The Flaming Fist are hostile at first but are real fast to turn around considering the circumstances if you just tell them you are a good guy.

You can knock Zevlor out too, right? You’d think that would provoke a response from the band whether you’re a Drow or not, but especially as a Drow

One could argue that they're desperate for any sort of help and so are willing to debase themselves somewhat for that. And they're tieflings, they know all about facing unfair racism so it doesn't surprise me that they're slower to cast similar judgement, they know better. Especially since I don't believe they've personally encountered drow before.

It also makes sense to me that Astarion wouldn't insult you to your face. We're the nominal leader and he's making at least a token effort to stay in our good graces.

No excuse with the duergar though.

This would be very good argument for a Drow that is actually helping them ...

The problem is, no matter how much permutations Larian make, and no matter how much they advertise that our decisions are important for the game ... you simply cant be any other.

Even if you insult them in their face ...
Even if you steal from them ...
Even if you litteraly murder their own kin in front of their eyes ...

They still concider you "one of those rare good exceptions". -_-
And that is incredibly frustrating.

I would totally accept this argument ...
If there werent several (maybe even dozen) of other examples allready in EA, where Astarion insults you to your face quite lightly and with no care at all. laugh
