Personnally what I'd like the most is to see ALL weapons equiped on the model at the same time, including the ranged weapons AND a quiver even if it's not the "active set".

I'd prefer it if Larian did do something like this that they made what shows on models toggleable. While I don't like the vanishing shields and am all for shields being shown on the back if equipped, I don't like my character models being too cluttered so personally wouldn't want non-equipped weapons showing. It might work with some combos where light weapons could be shown sheathed at the hip and ranged on the back, but I'm sure would get too messy for my taste with other setups.
