The funny thing is that : * It is very likely that we are going to explore Avernus (where Tiamat resides) * And "A small contingent of red dragons served high-ranking githyanki as mounts and companions, following a treaty established with Tiamat early on in their history" * Minsc is a Knight of Bahamut (sworn enemy of Tiamat) * There are sometimes very symmetric representation of Tiamat too on the internet... it just exists So it is also very likely there will be anyway a connexion with Tiamat at some point in the game Maybe it is a symmetry effect... and maybe it is a way to foreshadow Tiamat...
