There is an issue with Strategist inspiration.

The phase spider matriarch can be thrown in pit by one action (Thunderwave for example).
If this pit has not exit to Underdark, in that case Warrior (Laezel for example) gets Strategist inspiration,
but no way to get Poisoner's robe because no exit to Underdark and no access to dead matriarch.
If the pit has exit to Underdark, player may get Poisoner's robe later, but in that case Laezel does not get Strategist inspiration.

Can you fix it?

I haven't tried throwing the spider matriarch into the pit, but I do know there are other ways you can get the Strategist inspiration for Lae'zel. In my last playthrough, I got it by killing Dror Ragzlin
on a rogue with sneak attack (bow), wyvern poison applied, and landed a critical which one-shot him. Note that the inspiration states you must destroy a powerful foe in one strike, however that isn't exactly the case. It is better viewed as 'destroy a powerful foe in one turn'. Whether intended by the devs or not, you can get the inspiration by doing damage with multiple party members as long as it is one turn. For example, on another playthrough, I had one party member initiate combat while the other 3 stayed in hiding. Then, I had each remaining party member also attack the powerful foe and between all 4 they got the kill. This was not one strike, but it was one turn (all damage counted towards the turn of the first party member that entered combat, I think), so Lae'zel got the Strategist inspiration.

Interestingly...
Who else counts as powerful foe?
May be Mintara?
