I was wondering if you are playing a Paladin and a party member goes off while your shopping or viewing their conversation and breaks something from your oath if you become an oath breaker some examples are: When facing the Owlbear in the nest, kill the mother and then the Owlbear Cub.
Kill Pandima, the Tiefling paralyzed at the storage shack at the Druid Grove
Helping Mayrina revive her husband after dealing with the hag.
Freeing Sazza in the Druid Cove. betraying the Tieflings when rescuing Lae'zel, betraying the goblins within the Blighted Village as well as the Shattered Sanctum.
Allowing Arka to kill the caged goblin Sazza.
Torture Liam at the Shattered Sanctum. As the party dad that often finds myself buying camp supplies to make sure the whole party gets a full meal each night, I often find myself with Chaotic Neutral gremlins that will want to help the goblins take the druid grove or do other shenanigans and am worried that I might be forced into oathbreaker if I witness another party member breaking something in my oath but I will not force them to do something they don`t want to do after all I took the oath not my party.

In early access (which is not necessarily a guide to how things will work in the full release) a paladin doesn't break their oath if a party member steals or kills a neutral (and it's the killing blow that's significant, paladins can even join in the fight as long as they step back at the last minute).

I've not tried the other actions, but I'd guess that as long as the paladin isn't leading the conversation (and especially if they're not even there) you're probably okay.

Depending on your oath, though, you might have sworn to protect the weak (devotion) or stand against wickedness (ancients) which I'd interpret as including from your own party. I think paladins have to be pretty judgy! Still I don't think the game will make you be, at least yet.

Thank you yea I love playing as Paladins but hate when I have to railroad the party into not being able to play how they want or so like I have a friend who will be playing with me that has a thing for Short stack goblin girls so I know when my back is turned he will be freeing Sazza out the cage and didn't want my god to go you have failed me for not babysitting your friends for the last time lol

That is pretty much the workaround to get things such as hag's attribute boost w/o breaking the oath. If your party started the fight via a sneak action, you better stay on heals and don't finish any enemies.
