Initially, Market Street seemed like an odd option to me. I thought to myself, there's been a murder, what do I care about some gossipy and outrageous accusations about monster meat at the market?
Then the butcher from Market Street ends up as another victim.
It makes me think even the most unlikely clues and hunches are going to go somewhere.
Which is good in that I want to know what happened in the city and get familiar with all the locations. Although a part of me would prefer a slightly more thoughtful approach on the part of the players.

One thing that's frustrating is the satchel. I imagine most players would have used the speak with dead coin by now. And probably the invisibility potion, as well.
