It's also very important to note that some Wizard subclasses are going to suffer from the lack of higher level spells of their respective school (namely Divination and Illusion). As an example, the Divination Wizard gets their spell slots back when casting Divination spells. For reference, here's the complete list of confirmed non-cantrip Divination Wizard spells:

I have exactly the same concern ! I really hope the list is incomplete.

We lack some very commonly used spells in D&D and most of them in former BGs (those you cited [Shield, Polymorph, Spiritual Weapon, Dimension Door, Slow, Conjure Animals, Greater Invisibility, True Seeing, Lightning Bolt, Raise Dead or Detect Magic] PLUS freedom of movement, confusion, stone skin, bigby's hand, blight, death ward, contingency, mislead, fire shield, arcane eye), and there are (almost) no divination spells (former BG had some, like clairvoyance).

I am a little reassured though, because Guardian of Faith is not in the list, but has been advertised by Larian !

I will stay optimistic and I think it is highly probable we will have more spells than what is presented in the last community update.
