After the opening cutscene I get put into this scene with 4 naked characters. I've looked through other posts with this problem and none seem to fix mine.

I've played the game for 55 hours previous to this issue. (just came back after a few months of not playing made no changes)

I've disabled Firewalls

I've run it as both Vulkan and Direct X 11

I restarted my computer

I reinstalled the game.

I have no idea why this just randomly started happening when i've never had issue playing this game on this computer or multiple playthroughs.

Very weird. Never heard of such a thing. Looks like your character is appearing in totally the wrong place. Do you have any mods installed and have you verified your game files? Doesn't sound like it should be an issue if you've just done a clean install.

I am verifying my files right now and where would I go to check if I installed any mods? (Pretty sure I haven't but doesnt hurt to look)

I rescue Halsin and when I speak to him at a point when he talks about my parasite ... when he finishes talking the cut scene never ends ... the game just hangs there in perpetuity. I've tried all the cut scene option choices ... happens every time. Suggestions?

thats vram missing from your graphics and common when a fresh patch or settings are too high... on laptops it can also happen after a while because of heat build up

i would assume save/ reload should fix it unless your system is also doing something else in the background... another thing to try is disable the cross-save option as that may be having trouble finding a network to their server + you only need to synz game saves after you finish playing for the day not during actual play

That can happen if you have mods and dont have patch3 mod fixer in your mods folder.
