I have updated ALL areas: Including WinXp SP1, critical updates, latest sound and graphics drivers, version 1.33, and then 1.34. Even the mb and graphics BIOS....
This is my story of woe and misery:
Originally the game worked when I first installed it, but it suddently started crashing. When I clicked the divine divinity executable (via the shortcut or in windows explorer), the game would come up with a dark screen and then crash to the desktop.
I spent the whole of yesterday uninstalling and reinstalling, and finally in desperation, I reinstalled my whole computer (with updates). The game started ok, but now when I go to start a previously saved game, as soon as I click the saved game in the load window... the game crashes to the desktop. I also started a new game... same problem!
I AM TIRED OF REINSTALLING!!! I AM SICK OF THIS BUG INFESTED PIECE OF S*%T!!!
Really, I never complain about a game, and with a collection of nearly 300 games, I have never had a game give me so much grief. It seems I wasted my money here. Even the old bug infested, and complained about "Crimson Skies" works perfectly....
Yes, I have read the other comments about saved game issues, but none have helped. Anyone care to come up with something new, besides telling me to move on and play something else.
