Hmm, there are two ways (that I know of) in early access to get +1 to various stats (hags hair and volo's eye). It would not surprise me if Larian added others throughout the game. This may allow us to pick feats and still get 20 in main stat.
It's possible they also added in ways to get feats via roleplay.
