I'm also super curious about the status of Barcus.
My bet? He is just a camp follower ... just as talkative skeleton, volo, scratch, or owlbear cup ...
After all, as Barcus himself admit ... he is terrible adventurer. I wonder more about Netie, or Alfira ... i feel like there is some potential to take them both with us ... at very least as Mercenaries, if not followers.
