It could potentially be interesting - our Tavs lack any distinct characteristic so it could be nice way of covering it. The thing seems very reminiscent of Bhaal’s heritage so it could make for a more Baldur’s Gate feeling playthrough, than plain Tav. Than again I don’t trust Larian to do anything with it, other than come up with meme-able cruel situations.
I am more upset, that expected to it to be a companion as well, and there is so much meanness and edge in our companions I was really hoping for someone likeable.
