Lol! But I think it's a matter of execution. The Bhaalspawn's narrative didn't revolve around them constantly warding off violent urges to avoid going into a fugue state where they saw off people's arms. It was a bit more subtle, and had a quite a bit more buildup. Gale is one of the first people you meet right out of the prologue... the 'serial killer' aspect is pushed perhaps a little too far out the gate?

Oh, I fully agree with all of that. As I said, this character is a complete edgelord. I’m gonna have fun with it, but I get why some people aren’t into the tone of this game. That’s a valid personal preference.

We kept asking for a motivation to be bad from the beginning, I think this does a good job of providing it in at least one way.
