Toilet chain toggle for the people who dont like it

Npc items armours weapons dropping on death (if an npc is wearing equipment it should be lootable)

Key rings bag organisation auto storage of camp food

Companion story progression only occurs on rests (people are missing story larian where having the same trouble during the stream)
Having to rest to trigger story events is really clunky

Rolling for stats/pointbuy system

Lighting revamps/ color palet tweaks

Picking equipment on char create or at the start in the nautaloid

Consequences for resting constantly

Missing spells addresses what will or wont be added, rather then just tiny joke segment about stuff falling out, so what are we getting?

Adressing the lack of dndesk items/ plus heavy armour

Items such as talk with dead and rev scrolls being so abundant, is this just for the easiest game mode?

Base tav will be a lackluster adventure compared to the urge? Would have been nice to know about this in more detail

Can we turn the sex off? Iv got kids in my house id like to be able to enjoy the romances with out being forced in to a sex scene if possible.

Im not entirely sure if this belongs here ... since it was not something that was "requested" per se ...
But its something we had ... then they changed it, we didnt like the change ... so they removed it completely, and then we start requesting its return (prefferably in original state).

And that is Keybinds for first row of main hotbar ... aka 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
Since there are no small numbers on hotbar in any gameplay parts of stream ... i dare to boldly presume this was not returned. frown
I honestly cant think about single reason why.
Especialy since Jump, Throw, or Shove still do.

Another, not so highly, but still requested to return (by me at least) feature is showing maximum spell level for spells on hotbar ...
All spells have blank icons (read as: no indicator) sadly, and at first glance you either need to memorize all spells you have, or check them one-by-one to plan your resource management in advance.
Big let down btw.

There seems to be no way to start as an Oathbreaker at the moment.
Not so bigy, but its just feels wrong ... our custom characters are clearly not alowed to have any life prior to our capture.

And smallest complaint as a cherry on top:
Short/Long rest buttons are still hidden behind stupid popup button.

//Edit:
Oh! And class prewievs during character creation/level up ...
That was requested a lot, and i havent noticed any indication of its existence.

//2. Edit:
In first patches, there was button to start combat at any time during conversation ...
Something like "Oh, damn it all." button ...
It was removed later in certain conversations ... and repeately requested back, especialy for first conversation with Astarion (or Raphael, where it worked as instant skip back to camp) ...

We have seen it existing in PFH ... question is if it will be present constantly, or removed in certain conversations again. :-/

I added some of the suggestions to the opening list.
If you don't see one of yours, chances are that

A) I considered already implicitly covered by one of the other points listed
B) I just missed/misunderstood it and you have to make your case about adding it as a separate entity.

P.S. At some point it may even be a good idea to split this in two separate lists, between "Things that never had a chance" (i.e. day/night cycle, party of six, toilet chain rework, etc) and "Things that shouldn't be that hard to fix and it's strange they are still missing" (i.e. Dodge and ready actions).

Yeah, I read it. I'm not sure if that's what people actually wanted when talking about crafting, but I guess even the most basic alchemy system would count as crafting to an extent. I'll add a note to that line.

Personally, I don't even like crafting in general (if not in the "quest driven" variant) so the most basic the system is, the better.

Since all companions start at lvl 1 and receive XP to match the party, the player would choose Jehiera's multi-class, and apparently Sorcerer was chosen by whoever setup that screenshot.
Are you certain about this? Is it confirmed this is how the companions will work, that they all will start as level 1 and we're free to level them up however we want?

Maybe that doesn’t apply to normal mode, because “Tactician” alledgedly wants to make every combat a puzzle, and Bonus Action Hide solves every problem.

Speaking of “Tactician” mode, let’s discuss the solution to that combat puzzle, as presented by the puzzle’s designer. 1. Figure out goblins are waiting in ambush, through good perception or shameless meta-gaming. 2. Slip round the back (with probably more meta-gaming to know where it’s safe to do so) 3. Exploit the combat time bubble. I’m floored. This is just a cheese battle.

So I guess we can add “hard yet fair difficulty setting” to the list of things we’ll never get.

I was trying to summarize what are in the end the features that were expected, requested or in some cases even hinted/promised but never showed up.
I'll stress that isn't meant strictly as a "complaint thread" (despise the fact that I'm not particularly happy about some of these things) as much as a recap.

In some cases we have no definitive confirmations, but the silence on the topic seems to suggest a continuation of the current status quo.

I'll start throwing down what comes to mind, but feel free to add whatever I'm forgetting.

1- No dodge or ready actions. Never understood why the studio was so adamant about not adding these, since I doubt it would have been a technically challenging feature or hard to fit in the current gameplay loop.
2- No action economy fixes. If shove and hide stopped being bonus actions, they surely didn't feel the urge to tell us about it.Chances are that they aren't.
3- No deity selection at character creation. Can't say I'm particularly bothered by this but I know it was heavily requested.
4- No roll for stats or "floating" ability increases.
5- No system in place for companion's contribution to conversations/skill check.
6- No sheaths, scabbards or quivers and weapon still float magically glued to your back even when they should probably be on the hip.
7- Archery still looks "floppy" with projectiles tracing sloppy arcs even on short distances.
8- No revamps to control schemes or improvement to the UI. Not that I expected anything different at this point and after 3 years of shitting on it unsuccessfully; still, I couldn't help but notice once again that even Larian seems to secretly hate what they have for controlling the entire party, since in their demonstrations they are always managing one character at the time and leaving everyone else behind.

Feel free to suggest additions if I'm forgetting something relevant.
A long time ago before the game was in EA they showed ingame rolling for stats and other official ability options so i wouldn't be surpised if this gets taken off your list but you do have a good list going. The day night cycle and lack of Official Forgotten Realms content (specifically Bladesingers and SCAG spells are something that i will have to wait for mods for).

Well according to the Red Queen she could not roll for stats when she played. That would be an interesting about face if it pans out. Also no starting equipment makes sense given the story campaign that is bg3. In fact you shouldn't have any weapons/armor when you start only clothing. However of they do introduce an editor that mechanic should be in place for new campaigns.

If they had a bigbrain or took some time to think, they could dash and jump to hide in the building on the left and wait for all the goblins to leave the roofs, then kill them one by one as they approach. Larian gameplay is just goofy and they aimed at showing new abilities there.

I definitely hope it is more basic than DOS2 was. I thought that system was kind of clunky and without any kind of prior knowledge kind of urged you to leave the game and start Googling stuff, which shouldn't be happening in more modern games.

Big, complex systems can be pretty awesome. But not when they are overly clunky or just kind of useless.

The forum ate my initial response going through the PfH's Tactician sequence - quotes, timestamps and all. The funny thing about that sequence (starting around 5:55:00 iirc) is that what the dev says aloud while playing doesn't match the on-screen action.

He says (more or less) "unlike these guys, I decided to get ahead of the game by sneaking around the goblins", but as 3rd player dropping in, he just appears behind the enemy lines, no sneaking involved. He adds (paraphrasing), "See, the goblins don't see me right now, but they're locked in combat so that gives me the opportunity to get a cheeky little shot off", but he doesn't realize combat is over because his companions are dead. The reason goblins aren't attacking is the've never seen him before, so they have neutral approval towards him.

Two conclusions : Looking at the video, I agree with your assessment that cheese isn't necessary to solve Tactician mode; listening to the audio, Tactician doesn't seem to discourage cheese either. I was hoping Larian would design Tactician to punish certain overly simple and effective strategies. I don't think that's what we're getting, though I could be wrong if Full Action Hide only applies to Tactician (@Tuco timestamp 5:58:02 for that confirmation). Whatever, it'll be normal mode for me. No big deal.

Oh yeah, I can agree. For instance in games entirely focused around it, it can be a pretty awesome gameplay loop (Conan Exiles comes to mind as an example of game that did it -mostly- right).
But I usually don't like it that much when it's just a layer added on top of an already self-sufficient system. DOS 1 and 2 are perfect examples of games where the crafting felt almost completely redundant (and unless he changed his mind, Swen Vincke seemed to agree in his GDC talk about the making of the game).

DOS2 yes, but not DOS1. Crafting was a big part of the game, it was a good alternative to the regular gear and was a great extension for any build out there. Tedious? May be, to some. But redundant? Not so sure.

Healing potions being thrown
certain spells ineffective at affecting multiple physical elevations (ie enemies on stairs etc)
If we are stuck with toilet chain why is it still incapable of negotiating ladders without the "benny hill" effect.

I'm glad it's not just my word for it any more grin

But I can confirm that I was playing on Normal and Hide was an action. I only managed one level of rogue so wasn't able to confirm I'd get cunning action hide at level 2, but it seems a reasonable bet.

While I did not expect this to be a feature at the game's launch, I still hope it will be added in the not too distant future: the option to create a customized module/campaign.

The game looks generally great, and this would add so many - so many - hours of play.
