Use shield of faith to help keep the mind flayer alive.
I always did that, but I am talking about finishing not only Zhalk (who mind flayer with a fair bit of luck and buffs like SoF and a haste potion can do by itself), but killing all three devils. They drop some good stuff and I would like to requisition it for my needs
