Me, Lae'zel, Shadowheart, custom assassin. Possibly Karlach.

Tav/Lae'zel/Halsin/Gale

Shadowheart, Astarion, Karlach and Minthara probably die.
Gale and Halsin are the agile party slots. Wyll, Minsc and Jaheira are possible temporary replacements.

Urge as fightet, Minsc (Karlach until I meet him), Gale and Jaheira (Shadowheart in act 1)

Tav (rogue and or monk), Jaheira, Shadowheart (I think), Karlach

Shadowheart and Lae'zel are easily my favorites. Also of note The Dark Urge is not a possible companion so he shouldn't really be in the poll. Either the player is the dark urge or the dark urge isn't in the game.

It says "who is your first party", not "who are your first companions". Tav is also on the list, since it includes the PC.

I made it so you can pick 4, including the PC, so Tav and PC are one of the slots.

Torn between Karlach and Lae'zel. I find the banter between Lae'zel and Shadowheart to be entertaining.

... just realized "Tav" means the PC, so neglected to click that in the poll. D'oh.

Lae'zel, cause I know nothing about Giths.
Shadowheart, cause of obligatory goth bae.
Minsc, cause he sound like a good fella. (Never played the previous games)
Tav, obligatory for the first run.

The more i think about it, the clearer it gets ... wich is rare, so i stick to it.

Tav - Evocation Wizard
Gale - Abjuration Wizard
Karlach - Berserker Barbarian
Jaheira - Land Druid

I know its a bit weird to have two Wizards ...
But i cant really imagine my Wizard romancing anyone, but Gale ... so they will have to stick together, logically.

Likely Minthara, Jaheira and Minsc.

Tav, Minsc and Jaheira because obligatory, and Halsin. But that gives me a very light party early on, so I'll probably pick up Gale and... possibly Wyll and Karlach.

As I said in another thread, I don't use always the same companions, I like to switch around. And of course I play a Tav, in my case probably a halfling bard named Helia ☺️

Fascinated that the modal party right now is Tav, Shadowheart, Karlach, and Gale.

The least likely party is Wyll, Astarion, Minthara, and a Hireling (or Dark Urge).
Funnily enough, Wyll, Astarion, Minthara, and Dark Urge sounds like a great evil party.

Gale is the only (full) arcane caster you can get. Shadowheart the only cleric and only divine caster in act 1 depending on when Halsin fully joins.

I'm gonna be swapping everyone in and out, but my first party will be Tav, Karlah, Gale and Shadowheart.

I've no interest in stupid evil characters or characters who don't fit in the story.

My party will be Tav, Halsin, and Jaheira.😊 The fourth will be either Gale, Wyll, or Karlach. I haven’t decided yet!
