we will still benefit from the 3 extra days before the release now that the release is on August 3rd?
I think this should be properly clarified by Larian tomorrow, but my understanding is that no, the full game will be releasing as early as possible on 3 August, replacing the 72 hour early access to act 1. And it's not so much that we won't be getting the game three days early as that we won't have to wait until 6 August to play act 2 (and of course are getting everything a few weeks sooner than we thought)
