Just as Todd Howard intended
My point was that I was not shocked by or over-reacting to the bear thing - not by a long chalk.
I six years I never once played the vanilla game as it had nothing to offer me. As for how I modded my game, I did it mostly for laughs (with that many mods one often gets unexpected synergies) and the technical challenge (keeping Skyrim LE stable without mods is a challenge). There are also some seriously talented modders out there and their work was often worth checking out for the artistic and technical talent that had gone into the making.
I could also add that my modded version of an 11 year old game looked better than Larian's BG3, had full body physics (e.g. bouncing boobs, butt cheeks and dilating vagina. There's dilating anus now but that came after I stopped playing Skyrim) and sound effects. I could change body phenotype game wide by dropping files into a folder or change an individual on the fly in-game.
Do you think Larian will give you anything like that in 2023? No, but you can play a character who, when a man holds out his hand asking for help, chews off the hand and another character comes out with a naff gag.
