Hey, I want to know which Mac devices are compatible (and most likely) to be able to run BG3. I have one macbook pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) and plan on playing it on the Xbox Series as well when it comes out, but I'd really like to try it now on my laptop. I don't know much about computers and notebooks so I don't know if my device supports the game, even in the minimum settings.

I was researching and saw a YouTube channel a guy explaining that it was running just as well as Windows early access, but he only tested two MacBooks. I was trying to make a comparison of the device I have and the specifications it gave, however, as I don't understand anything I thought it would be safer to consult the community.

check the dates on any youtube you watch because the game has been in EA for 6 years and the system that could run patch 1 will struggle with patch 9... then watch the last panel and see that their DEMO systems couldn't handle the current build 1 release for 5 mins while they tell the world how great it is and you will understand why i'm saying wait

I have a 2022 27 inch iMac with Intel i7 and an AMD 5300 dedicated graphics card.

The Game runs really well on it.

2) No dedicated graphics card

Minimum Specs for Mac to run Bg3
2.6GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon460 4GB
Storage: 150 GB available space
Additional Notes: Minimum specs can run the game on low to medium settings. To meet minimum specs, you'll need a MacBook Pro 15 inch from 2016 or newer, with the above mentioned GPU. Or, a MacBook Pro 13 inch from 2018 or newer. M1 Chip requirements: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or Mac mini with Apple M1 chip and 8GB of RAM.
