Both inner demons would have different stats advantages/disadvantages succubus death knight: Higher charisma? More intelligence, lower con? male demon death knight: strength? Higher con, lower int.?
In the female character used to have different starting stats as the male character at a certain point in development. This did not make it to the final game because during beta testing they got a lot of negative feedback about this. In my opinion the different stats will only be effective if they make a real difference. So that having a higher charisma or a higher intelligence actually is a big deal and can be compared as equal to the loss of combat abilities.

It is, seriously, quite interesting that Larian Studios decided to give us the points and we decide how to spend them rather than a forced distribution such as the 15, 10, 10, 10 set. This means that we could have 45 or 60 points to distribute and two or four skills to select, which is basically the identical state of starting DD but with much greater freedom due to the obvious absence of classes. While we are at it, if I choose a male character, I hope I shall not be forced to choose a hair style and colour as I would like to create a bald battle mage. Since our primary choice shall be based on gender and age (kid) like with the SIMS, I recall that we could define the character by yet some other status points related to the game engine. In our case with it would be nice if could distribute some points on aggressiveness, caution, perseverance and body style, such as heavy bones and huge muscles versus acrobatic and swift style. I wouldn’t mind if I could input the weight and height of my character.

I wonder if we'll have a small text field to write about the character like in D&D games... In you had different stats for different sex of the same class only in unpatched version.

DAD's right about having many many points to define the stats of the character that we want to build. that way, kiya's dream of having well-defined gender-based character ca ncome true. but then if we look at it numerically, male or female won't mean anything other than cosmetics for the stats.
this reminds of character creation in fallout tactics: BOS. create a totally new character, give it a gender then assign points to the stats then pick a trait &/or perk or two then u got yourself an avatar.
has anyone play freedom force? it's an interesting RPG-like game. the way u create your heroes give them more personality, such as psychologically weak which means vulnerable to psychic attacks or tend to chicken out when the fighting gets tough, glass bones which means imunity to electrical attack yet vulnerable to melee attack, & the list goes on. when u introduce weakness, u get extra points to spend. some abilities/traits/perks will cost huge amount of points. in the end, no two characters are the same.
2 cents for foreign exchange.

Freedom Force is one of my favorite games. It is one rare example of a game which modders were supported by the developpers. There are counless skins and models, along with animations and sounds. When a group of people made a skirmish mod for FF, the developpers, with their permission, added the menus and included the mod in the next patch. Also Irrational kept releasing models: in every model released they included a 3DSmax original file, allowing people to modify the mesh at will... Why "RPG-like"? It was an RPG: with stats, experience and heroes. Note that Glass Bones only lowers resistance to crushing attacks, nothing else. There were negative perks and positive ones. Negative, as jangutt said, lower the character's cost, making it possible to recruit (You recruit by paying the character's cost, which is based on reputation points).

Indeed i don't know any CRPG game which allows some kinds of MODs. (Anyway, my RPG bio is rather short. )
What few people know is that the developers of the RTS game Homeworld also heavily support MODders. And even more in Homeworld 2, it seems.

Janggut - my suggestion was more besides demon based bonus/malus on stats. I hoped for more Larian humour due to different dialogue options - when char and demon/death knight nag at each other. Both are not happy with this forging IIRC. I thought, this could add more to the game atmosphere. Kiya

It is a fantastic opportunity to consider your suggestion of considering the conflict with soul-forged demon. A male avatar might have to wrestle-only occasionally because the death-knight has a contradictory wish for direction to move and an almost Tug O’ War between the avatar and the D. K., on the other hand, an evil D. K. tied to a pretty avatar might be quite tempting. and here she, the avatar, might have to constantly push away all the time at the sticky stoker. ____ ![[Linked Image]](http://hemetis.freeyellow.com/GrinDance.gif) ____

What about Morrowind? For some reason Lynn's post made me smile :0). Anyway, this topic is becoming very interesting: I wonder what interraction will there be between the 2 soullinked. And I wonder if Deathknights have sex differences: I mean is there something inside this iron or the creature is just a walking armor?

Ah, I meant it more in the sense of 2 opposite principles: Male knight provoking the female char and his environment with aggressive answers that pop in and out. So the char has quite a problem on her hand to keep certain people from attacking her - and then both have a hot discussion (Come on, you sissy, attack - Nope, why should I - Loot, you nitwit, loot - what about asking first and killing afterwards? - Ah, you're a spoilsport, I want blood! Etc.) Female demon/succubus - the more luring tempting kind (voice) makes the male char think/discuss about further procedure (let me kiss him/her ) - and yes, I'm, referring to the Kiss of Death Kiya

{Laughing} Oh now I began to see deeper. Soul forging here with opposite gender is identical to marriage. This means that Larian Studios may copy all the recorded hilarious fights between a husband and a wife. I can hardly wait to see that implemented. ____ ![[Linked Image]](http://hemetis.freeyellow.com/GrinDance.gif) ____ ........____........
