Also unsure if by crude you're referring to behaviour or appearance. For behaviour it made enough sense for me. While they have typical behaviours that comes with being fey they're still intelligent beings with individuality yes? So this one being "unpleasant" isn't that much of a stretch imo. As for the appearance, it did feel unfinished and unpolished but that makes sense as it didn't really seem like this was the release candidate build.
