However, think there needs to be a minimum of at least 12 or even a 14. 12 though makes more since IMO, especially for a basic level dip. So with that, my charecters will at least have a 12 in their secondary class.
13 is the average stat of a player character, for what it's worth. With Point Buy and the standard +2/+1, you can get exactly a 13 in all stats. ...this might just be a coincidence though.

Also, I don't think it's bad for odd numbers to matter. If they didn't matter at all, then we should just swap to an "ability score modifiers only" system.
