If it's like previous Larian games, then yes. However, it's easily fixed (always is), and a mod to turn achievements back on should probably be available hours after release. For what it's worth, Steam has the most worthless achievements ever. You can toggle them on or off at will, even using a program that's now almost 10 years old if not more, with zero penalty, and it's not a bannable offense. Not sure why people still care about them. At least Xbox and Playstation achievemments are trustworthy showcases of accomplishments if nothing else.
