There are any number of threads for discussion re rules changes, WotC, etc. Every new piece of info we get just gets me more excited. The new fextralife video with the tadpole changes? Meet guardian Daisy on the road?

It is agonizing to not have this game in our hands, and a negativity-free convo where we can share some comraderie about how delightfully frustrating this home stretch of the wait is might be welcome to some.

Have a serious character in mind and an incredibly stupid one I NEED to build as soon as I can.

I mean ... the world NEEDS Princess, the noble Dragonborn knight. She's princess, knight and dragon at the same time.

There was this one with the hype train but I think in went off rails and landed on the second page or something... buy, yay! I would love more positivity around here. I remember the old Bioware forums, where people used to speculate, make esseys on each new screenshot that we got, analyzing each new info and playing the guessing game... lots of fanart, fanfics, love for the characters.

And when Larian does something 10x better than anything BioWare cooked up in decades it all goes down in flames of not keeping to the rulebook and game mechanics

What other possible reason there could be?
If people simply didn't care about the game, they'd be playing/following something else entirely.

Larian found the character-driven RPG crown in the gutter and put it upon their head.

More relatable than I'd like to admit it's like starving and looking at a fine dinner through bulletproof glass. Whenever I dig into the things about the game that concern me, it's only because I wish for it to be the best it can be. In the end I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

No, seriously, I can't wait for August either. I know I'll be playing hundreds and hundreds of hours. From what I've seen in early access, this is the RPG I've been waiting for.

BG3 is such an amazing game!!! Can’t wait for launch day!

Stole it shamelessly from some meme, where someone thought about writing a story about that and have the character become hired to save herself from herself due to a series of misunderstandings. It was so hilariously stupid, it lived in my head since then.
And BG3 offering me the option to play that character? Hell yeah.

I too have an idea for a character I'll be making just for the meme; though an awful character just for the purposes of making a .gif, not one originally based on a meme.

I will take screenshots, turn them into these typical vacation postcards, and send them to my friends - in case anyone is wondering where I am.

It's a long road the next three weeks, but release is in sight.

I'm still playing around with character ideas, multiclass ideas, party composition ideas, direction ideas.

Very much looking forward.

I wish I could remember who it was that said they would run a few playthroughs simultaneously, and I just love that idea. One Tav, one companion origin (Karlach I plan on) and one TDU. I think having the ability to compare and contrast without having to remember a playthrough from months earlier will be fascinating. Call it BG3: Rashomon
