Wasting time, money and work in genitals is the least needed in a game like this. Change my mind.
I would say that there a plenty of things less needed than genitals. Such as:
A schoolbook written entirely with a perfectly circular letter o rotated in different degrees to represent characters of the latin alphabet, but is a translation of Kanji representations of the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt.
An empty shell casing from a proton shotgun built in a future version of earth from the Last of Us part II lore, but transported and retrofitted to be used in traditional Kree weaponry, before causing a misfire and being left out in space for 1.24 million years before a passing meteor collided with it and dragged it to the underdark where it was eaten by a small rat that eventually was infected by a myconid (crazy coincidence) and was finally crapped out and left in the far corner of a tiny cliff that the player has no way of accessing.
A used earbud.
But I'm just throwing out possibilities that I think would be more useless, you may think those would all be super helpful and increase the realism and accuracy of cutscenes more than genitalia for sex.
