I was really impressed after i saw what they implemented in the final release. I have to admit that.
But o really do not understand why they have not thought (or decided against) of implementing Githzerai. For me it woud have been an obvious choice. It would have created some interesting interaction between the Githyanki in the game
and given players the opportunity to play a Gith that is not inherently evil.
Even the models should have been a minor issue since they are basically just smaller Githyanki.
