Well ...
I can imagine some troubles with reactivity.
What puzzles me more is Variant Human ...
Same model, same lore, same backgroud ... same everything, just different stats.
And yet ... Larian refuse to include them ...
Whats even weirder tho is that it seems lately like they refuse to include regular Humans aswell ...
Makes me wonder whats the deal there. O_o
True. Maybe they scrapped the Variant for this strange new "put your stats where you want em" stuff.
waht you say about regular humans may actually be the exact problem...them beeing regular. With people in the real world starting to "define" themselves as something other then they actually are could have ended the "regular" Human Race. To me it seems all that had some not too small influence in BG3.
Or maybe im seeing things

Back to Githzerai...they managed dueergar and drow....and with githzerai beeing pretty stoic they might even have accepted to be recognizted as their evil counterparts at first and then just calmly clarifying the fault. Just the interactions with the actual Githyanki owuld have been difficult...or interesting

.
I would have liked it. Since i remember that still from planescape: torment.
