Yes, thats quite strange that Larian is otherwise superpowering everything and not caring an inch if they unbalance something, but for something they, in their own words, spend a lot if time on they stick to the core rules which even Wotc admitted to be lacking which is why they updated Dragonborn in Fizbans.

For those that don't know Fizban:
- Floating stats like in Tasha
- Breath weapon 1d10 + 1d10 at level 5/11/17
- Breath weapon usable proficency bonus times between long rests, even as part of a multiattack
- Metallic dragonborn: 2nd Bteath weapon with status effect (stunning, pushing, knockin prone, ect.)
- Chromatic dragonborn: Temporary elemental immunity instead just resistance
- Gem dragonborn (new): Telepathy and temporary flight at lvl 5.
