The only use I can think of for cloning is to clone your own cells for use in generating spare organs. Need a new kidney or heart in your old age? Put the new one it. It IS you so the bodies chance of rejecting it is low.
Lets not even get into full cloning of a human being, its just sci-fi for now. We can clone the body but not the contents of a mind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.
