What I am getting from this video is the idea that evil can be heroic and can even make the world a better place. This makes sense if you consider the motivations behind Bhaal at this point and the Dark Urge.
If you are an Avatar of the Lord of Murder then it's in your best interest to stop The Absolute and wipe them from the face of Faerun. Will that process be bloodier than it otherwise might have been? Hell...yes!
Will it markedly make the world a better place? Also yes. Furthermore, the desire for vengeance on those that hurt and enslaved you will be such that you likely will never stop hunting and killing them, including Mind Flayers. This will result in a net improvement in the world. Murder, like greed, is good.
That you can turn the DU's instincts on your enemies is awesome.
