Yeah, my guess is it's the essence of Bhaal that canonically never got used (Gorion's ward refused it) and the Sceleritas fella is essentially, maybe even literally Cespenar. :P (their looks and personalities don't match though.) This would also explain why the DU's urge to kill seems so overwhelming - they would be dealing with a lot more death juice than what any single Bhaalspawn had.
