ASI are no longer tied to race but class. That means that any race can be any class now. Wanna play that Githyanki CLeric of VLakkith? Wanna play that Dragonborn monk? Or my favorite, Zarukt Starhammer, my Dwarven Wizard? Well those are all now viable as ASI are assigned by class and not race!
Except, does anyone know where that leaves humans? Humans big thing, their only thing, was +1 to all abilitiy scores. If they don't have that ASI anymore, what do they get? Are they going to make the baseline human a variant human (getting a feat at level 1)? Are they going to get +1 to all ability scores in ADDITION to their class ASIs? Anyone heard what is happening to humans?
