Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General I have FOMO from not being able to talk to animals

I have fear of missing out from not being able to talk to the animals. Don't know why? Maybe they know something.

So what are the options?

I know I can play as a warlock and pick it at level 2. Or bring Wyll and have him do it.
I know there are spells. And that there will probably be items you can equip.

Do druids or rangers or their subclasses have it as an inherent skill? As in not needing to cast a spell . They just know how.
