If memory serves there isn't a great deal of variety in magical belts in the 5e DMG.

There are belts of strength and a belt of Dwarvenkind,
That's it. (Girdle of M/F never made it in to the 5e DMG)

Fizban's treasury of Dragons added the Dragonhide Belt.
Explorer's Guide to Wildemont added the Stormgirdle.

With the removal of 4 kinds of belts we are left with 5 armor slots, 3 jewelry slots, and our weapons/shields to boost our character.

Should make for some interesting choices.

But exactly this would have been an excellent chance for Larian to create their own belts.

Now I'm worried that every serious and somber Paladin I meet is going to be wearing sexy lingerie for the CHA boost.

Well, with over a century of practice Jaheira must be world class in pressing pantaloons. Nature's Servant uses that Brain-Free yet Satisfying exercise for Stress Relief after dealing with Omnipresent Authority Figures ...
Larian IS aware of underwear - at Goblin Camp I overheard the lasses joking:
"'Ow does a Drow call 'er knickerz?"
"Oi?"
"Undergarments! Har! Har! Gerr'it? UNDER garments!"

I wonder if this might be an offshot of Minthara's genteel, civilisation and culture fomenting presence.
