Just confirming that in the version of the game I played in Ghent rangers were still able to select the Beast Tamer option instead of a favoured terrain to get the ability to summon a small animal pet/familiar from level 1, instead of or as well as the animal companion they get at level 3 as a Beast Master. I think I’m right that raven is one of the familiar options?
It is, albeit a smaller, weaker version of the animal companion raven.
