I hope after release they patch the game up, release a couple of very small DLCs (see DOS2) and then move on to the next game.
I also hope the next game uses D&D ruleset as they already have everything setup for it and it should, in theory, shrink the timeline for their next game to release.
That's actually my only real concern about the game, the fact that act II and III (plus Dark Urge and 33% more act I content) don't have 3 years of EA testing and on top of that the game is releasing 1 month early.
I would love to be wrong and have a bug free experience but if my fears become a reality I want them working on BG3 and nothing else (I know they have different teams and all that but you know what I mean)
