Oh, I don't know. Geralt of Rivia worked for me perfectly for three consecutive games, so did Commander Shepard. Roleplay is to embody someone other than yourself. The Origin characters are that, and you can shape them as you go.

I'm actually rather excited to play Shadowheart first. It'd be so much more fun to see her story unfold *as* Shadowheart, than from the outside as Tav. Just the Nautiloid alone will be interesting; she and Laezal aren't exactly chummy, so how does that play out?

To each his own, though. I am *also* very much looking forward to spending forty hours in the character creator.
