I made a rule that no pre-purchase without Early Access after the CDPR debacle...and the Fallout 76 debacle...and the Tides of Numenera blasphemy!

Sometimes even with precautions games can end up sucking anyway. It’s just a risk you run. I was so surprised with how much I hated FF16. I didn’t buy the game until 2 days before it came out, I had thoroughly played through the demo multiple times and reviews gave it wide praise and acclaim. I think it’s so bad that I won’t ever bother finishing it.

So I guess the risk of disappointment is always there. That said, given how much there is to play of BG3 already, I think we can all rest assured that we will know more or less what to expect.
