Lmao video feels like a response to the current discourse around Durge. It seems like the amnesia and customisability of the origin is to encourage us to be our own person dealing with these urges and mystery of our origins, as opposed to being a definite pre-determined personality. I'm not against having multiple sources of temptation to be evil in a good playthrough though (tadpole, Bhaal-powers, etc.). If being good were easy, everyone would do it.
