This is still an issue. I'm experiencing the same. SSD usage running steady 40 %, to spike up to 100% for a short moment, while game freezes.
Please fix this, everything else in the game is smooth. There are no other issues. It seems to happen randomly. In dialogues, when moving about the map, when in combat etc.
