This is actually quite fun if you pair up with Karlach like you said elsewhere; you can hide behind her and she can throw you to safety if needed.

I actually plan to have her in the party most of the time ( and romance her). I'm not a fan of getting my little halfling thrown though, I'm pretty sure she will get fall damage.
