In 5e, str and int are the dump stats. But we are not playing 5e, we are playing BG3.
And here, str IS quite important.
- Jump distance
- Shoving/ resisting being shoved
- Carrying capacity
...
Int is the clear dump stat for any class except for wizards and eldritch knights/ arcane tricksters.
If you are worried about saving throws in fights against mindflayers, intellect devourers etc, you can also dump cha without any consequences.
Only the cha of the face matters. If you have a bard with 20 cha in the party, you will never start conversations with the barbarian anyways
