Though it won't be a problem if we just pick the same class as you said. But we know the game could potentially "break" if we just only choose some absolutely normal options
The way i see it, there are two types of people ...
One will never meet this "misstake" ... since its not a bug ... bcs they will respect that zheir Astarion is lvl 1 Rogue, even if he will be lvl 11 Paladin ...
And it will feel corect to them, even tho its just as wrong as jusz making him Paladin put right.
Second ... will simply dont care.
and this gives us an unsettling feeling. It is like a bug, if you don't trigger it, then there won't be a problem. But to know it is there is unacceptable for many of us. And the only difference between this and a bug is how severe it is. And like I said, though many people don't care about that, but some of us do...

I feel sory for you, but not enough to let it ruin my game.
You have option to make it perfectly the way you like it ... you ofc can refuse to use it, but the way i see it ... exactly at that point you loose any right to complain about it.
Many people stand in fire and complain it burns ... dont be one of them, be better.
