I got the idea becouse of potatoes being mentioned here and there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

@faile,
Maybe you wanna join me? I'm having a great cold dish.
Pasta (noedels),salade, tomatoes, olives, fetta cheese, sliced up potatoes.
On mine are also some shrimps and a sliced hard boiled egg.
We don't have to put that on yours ... you don't like those, eh? Don't really remember.

Chinese is a little less popular here these days.
Food inspection checked out different (Chinese) companies who deliver meat to Chinese restaurants here.
They found all kind of things. No hygiene in almost all of them, using over date meat, bacteria everywhere, changing labels,... and more of those yuckie things that can put you off eating for awhile.

Yes. Ofcourse I do. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
But there are different... eh... "kinds". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Some don't mind eating products like cheese and eggs.
Some don't mind eating seafood and fish.
Some only eat veggies. Some don't even eat all kinda fruits and vegies. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And you know... since I know you and Hilde I been more interested in that again. I been eating a lot more veggies and dishes without meat.
Hilde is colleague/freind. Her mom often prepares a kind of fruit mix for her. -differend kinds of fruids sliced up mixed with berries in a jar.
When we're working in the same office she knows she has to hide it or bring two portions.

No, I guess we'll have to wait till they check out the Indian suppliers. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

What was that series on the BBC again? About those food and health inspectors...
All those Asian restaurants and shops with mice, rats, insects,...

Sounds very nice.
I think she put some extra juice of different fruits in.
That's what makes it so yummy... home made, so a little different every time.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Happy to see you know your yummies too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Never tried squid with curry though.
Is that curry sauce or powder? I'm not sure about curry sauce and squid ... or maybe... I dunno <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Maybe, if the sauce is not to strong I guess.
I like calamares.

It is in a kind of Curry Batter, deep fried after that. The outside is crispy, and the squid not over done, so it is not chewy. (Well, no more than squid should be...) So, it is not too strong, just nice. Then they serve it on a bed of chopped lettuce, celery and carrots. I love it... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Maybe i will send you some Seth. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Yuck - can yo imagine??? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I will have to find a recipe, maybe that i can PM you! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Sounds a lot like calamares.
It probably isn't that differend.

If you send me one, you better put it in water. It might be moving again by the time it gets here. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Well, algee are very healthy.
I don't say they're yummy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> My dad has to drink some brew made of algee (becouse of his rheumatism) and it tastes absolutly yuckie.

I'd say.
I do love all that asian food too. But after seeing that you just expect to see a rat running over your feet every time you walk into an asian shop.
