Many forums have a section or megathread for newcomers to say hi and introduce themselves when they join. Some forums also have a similar section or megathread for old timers to say goodbye when they move on. Maybe the opening post could become the seed of such a megathread ?
If so, I suppose that those who stay behind could write a little epitaph for the departed one. I briefly thought about Scratch For Companion, but I feel Niara's efforts were mostly directed toward making Halflings better (not that this was the only great in-depth analysis she provided, but it's what comes to my mind first).
